Quality, Knowledge & Performance is our priority in order to provide excellence in guest services.
Enjoy your new all smiles experience.

Dr. Soares and his highly trained staff are committed to making your dental visit a pleasant and comfortable one. Superior oral health is vital to a person's overall well-being.

We understand the importance of establishing a good oral hygiene regimen and we provide you with the necessary knowledge and treatment to maintain a healthy smile.
When you arrive in our reception area, you'll be greeted by a staff member, who will notify the Doctor/Hygienist of your arrival. You'll notice everyone on our team is glad to see you. You'll immediately notice the atmosphere is relaxing from soothing colors to a relaxing aroma.
Our patients choose us because of our expertise and kindness, not because an HMO recommended them to choose a doctor from a list. Our patients value "VIP" care rather than being told where they can or can't go from insurance company and being rushed through your services.
You will see that we don't run our office like a department store during the Holidays. You will not find our reception area full of activity. It's because we are here to serve you during your visit.
Are you having a dental emergency, toothache/pain or even need a last minute cleaning, we can schedule a same day visit.
We invite you to call, text, or schedule online to request an appointment or ask questions. We look forward to hearing from you soon. We accept all forms of indemnity insurance, PPO insurance and Humana Gold Plus.

Your Title HereWhat are dental Implants?

How missing teeth are replaced with implant technology.

To replace one tooth, a single post is all that is required. For the replacement of multiple teeth, it might be necessary to place several dental implant posts. There are three parts to complete a restoration for a missing tooth, an implant, an abutment and the final restoration.

A dental implant is a manufactured post that is designed to create a stable foundation for a natural looking tooth restoration. Placed directly into the jawbone, a dental implant is the closest thing to your natural tooth.

There are two parts to a dental implant which simulate the strong holding ability of the tooth root. The main part of the dental implant is embedded in the jawbone for an effect that is vastly stronger than dentures are capable of.

The second part of an implant is a post that protrudes above the jawbone and gumline, to provide a fixed point to attach the tooth restoration that will simulate the crown. What will my first visit be like?

During the initial visit, a full mouth series of x-rays will be taken, in order to complete the Comprehensive Exam. If you have a full set of legible X-rays from 6 months prior you may bring them to the initial visit appointment, we are able to use those films in place of the initial visit x-rays. In addition, you will be presented with treatment recommendations and payment options.

Continuing Routine Dental Care will consist of two Periodic Exams and Cleanings per year & four Bitewing x-rays once per year. Our policy ensures that we are able to provide the highest quality services available in the dental profession.

Do I really need x-rays?

Initial Visit

On your initial visit you will have a full mouth series x-rays which is like going to your General Medicine Doctor and he/she recommending your blood work to complete a general checkup. We need to have a baseline of the condition of your teeth for evaluation and reference.

X-rays are useful to the patient and dentist for:

> Discovering cavities between teeth and underneath old fillings and crowns. > Evaluating bone support around teeth and gum disease.

> Discovering abscesses and root infections.

> Discovering cysts and tumors.

You would have to take 1750 dental x-rays to equal the radiation in a lower GI series! 1 dental x-ray is 1/10000 of the yearly maximum recommended dose.

To put things in perspective, each time you fly from coast to coast you receive 4 millirems of background radiation, or the equivalent of four panoramic radiographs.

As well, there is background radiation from concrete buildings, roads and even the sun! Just standing around you receive more than 3 bitewing x-rays worth of radiation every day.

We would have to take almost 10,000 dental x-rays to reach your maximum safe yearly dose!

When you weigh this against all the serious conditions such as decay, periodontal disease, abscesses and cancer that can go undetected without x-rays, it seems like a pretty fair tradeoff.

Do I really need X-rays?

This simple and useful diagnostic procedure is commonly misunderstood. Patients are often understandably concerned with radiation exposure. Below is a fact sheet about x-ray radiation you may find interesting:

The following exposures of bone marrow to radiation during typical x-ray examinations are listed below in millirems, a measurement of radiation.

The maximum on the job yearly exposure for Canadian and U.S. radiation workers has been set at 5,000 millirems. Low doses spread out over a period of time are not as harmful as larges doses at once because the body has time to recover.

Payment options

Our fees are based on the quality of the materials we use, our experience in performing your needed treatment services, staff quality and everything that goes into maintaining a dental facility.

Payment for office visits and treatment is expected at the time of service.

Our goal is not to let expense prevent you from benefiting from the quality of care you desire and need. To facilitate this goal we have developed the following financial options:

INSURANCE BENEFITS

Our practice accepts most dental insurance. Our goal is to maximize your insurance benefits and make any remaining balance easily affordable.

Co-Payment/ Patient Portion: Patients whose insurance have been verified are expected to pay their yearly deductible and estimated portion of the charges not covered under their policy at the time services are rendered prior to billing insurance.

If for some reason your insurance company does not reimburse the charges, it is your financial responsibility to pay the remaining balance.

We offer the service of filing insurance claims with narratives and duplication of x-rays, at no charge.

We offer you 60 days interest-free on the insurance payment while waiting for your claim.

As a courtesy, we offer a complimentary benefit check and estimate your co-payment after deductible. Please understand that this is only an estimate, and is based on the information available to us.

The range of benefits depends solely on what your employer wishes to purchase. Some plans cover as little as 20% or as much as 100% of dental services with most falling in the line of 30% to 70% range.

Some plans base the amount of benefit on a schedule of fees arbitrarily developed by insurance companies.

For this reason, you may receive a lower percentage than the reimbursement leveling indicated in your dental plan.

For example, if your plan states it will pay 80% of the fee arbitrarily determined by the insurance company and not the actual fee charged by our office.

The insurance company is responsible to you and not to our office. It is your responsibility to monitor the status of your outstanding claim. We will assist you in any way that we can.
